My Ballet Career

The beginning of ballet career

Elena began her dance career at the age of six when she fell in love with ballet and has been dancing ever since! She has been taught by the People’s Artist of Moldova Rosita Potehina, who inspired and supported Elena over the years.

Experienced international dancer

At the age of 18, after graduating from one of the top Russian Ballet Schools in Saratov with distinction, she began her professional career as a classical dancer in Moscow. First as a dancer in corps de ballet, then as a soloist. Her repertoire includes roles in ballets such as “Swan Lake”, “Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Giselle”, “Don Quixote”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Coppelia” and others. The theatre had performances both in Moscow and has been touring globally, giving performances in Europe (Italy, England, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland etc), North America, Asia and South Africa.

Educated ballet teacher and choreographer

From 2009 to 2015 Elena has been studying at the Moscow University of Culture and Art and has qualified as a ballet teacher and choreographer. She has been educated according to the highly esteemed method in the world of Agrippina Vaganova.

Experienced ballet trainer

She worked as a ballet teacher in Italy for 2 years and was invited to teach Russian ballet in Hong Kong, where she worked for 5 years getting experience in teaching students at all levels and ages. Elena’s students have been accepted to professional ballet schools and successfully participating in competitions.
